Who is the person talking non stop in the crowd? Rude. Amazing playing!!
!
Ever calm, never flustered, quietly playing his guitar, Richard the invincible
Sam loved drums, loved talking about the drums and wrote dozens of books on drums, or more accurately, wrote a similar book dozens of times. And he was a bit of a kook. I liked "Chopbuilders" because it was mindless exercises that did indeed help build chops. That's what Sam was all about . He advocating practicing with metal stick to build strength and endurance. Drumming was a physical effort to him. And there's a place for that. But it's just a tiny part of being a creative musical player.
Holy cow! Fabulous!
Two of the greatest!
Mesmerizing!
Very talented man
Col. Sanders on Gretsch.
Wow that was awesome. Love all three of these guys.
I just bought the G5210 and it is really well made for the price especially.
Sam Swings!
3 Universal Drummers of Musical Brilliance !
Great performance by both guitarists.👍👍
Blimey!
That's some really good thumb picking
Anyone know why the amp is turned around backwards? Is it like a monitor?
Smokin' Joe is an amazing guitar picker but he doesn't hold a candle to Richard.
Wish i could do that.
yep
Fucking stellar, so musical
Happy Again is one of my favorite Chet songs! ♥ Borsalino is great too!
Sweet!
Wow!!
I always love coming back to this video for the excellent playing and the beautiful tone. Wonderful work.
Sweet Steve! I have one coming in next week! So looking forward to gigging with it. I wonder if we ever passed each other at Vic Zinn's in N-ville back in the early to mid 70's. I lived on the southside (Southport High grad, '74), but went up north to IRC, and Vic's place. I'm a big fan, man. Long may you run, and long may that Guitar do the talkin'!
Great stuff, I love this song from base and drums perspective! Great lines here!
What a dream, it’s like the new generation of the now infamous Gadd, Weckl, Colaiuta clip
This is much more musical
@@antkn33 True. An old/new form of "melodic" drumming has really ascended over the past couple of decades
Without the 23 piece drum kits 😅
Agreed chops are there but more borrowing from the melodic drummers of the past like max roach. Less fusiony muscle chops
That kit is beautiful
❤
I've been really excited to see this ,so much fantastic art in 1 place
Who is in the band, everyone sounds soooo sick
A silverburst kit... I think I need to GET ME ONE OF THOSE. And then... a silverburst CHEVY VAN ruclips.net/video/D6VUmpqFxMo/видео.html
Fabulous the pair of you, very well done ❤
Nice!
Wonderful playing and a kit sound to die for..Love it 😮
Grrrrrrooooovy..... amazing
Karl is amazing such a wonderful person and drummer! Happy Birthday man, happy life!
I'd love to spend a few hours inside their heads just to see what they are hearing. Has to be something more than us regular humans.
Richard: Take it easy on young Joe, there.
Joe: take it easy on old Richard, there!
Zohar- rocking back and forth the soul ignites and wavers like a candle wishing to return to the divine ..in Jewish prayer. Like Richard here while he plays. Thank you.
That swung like crazy!
explendido... maravilhoso
One of the finest performances of this song as a duet. Richard is awesome and so is Joe
Doss. Chet A would have loved this.
So cool, thanks so much!
Sam was one of the greats. I studied with him for 16 years. He taught me more about drumming than all my other teachers combined. I didn't agree with everything he said and sometimes we argued like "cat and dog" (his words), but right or wrong, he thought more deeply about the drums and their relationship to music than anyone else I ever met. I miss him a lot! RIP.
man…he is such a great country player, but his harmonic sense go far beyond that…what a musician
New kid on the block, very good.
